Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I become a Healthy Workplace?

The first step is taking our online questionnaire. This quick Assessment will gauge your organization's health and safety culture. Get Started here.

  • What are the levels of recognition?

After your organization completes the Healthy Workplace Assessment™, it is recognized as a Healthy Workplace. There are four levels of recognition:

    • Kick-Start Healthy Workplace
An organization that is actively working toward health and safety goals with plans for increased commitment and resources.
    • Certified Healthy Workplace™
An organization that has demonstrated commitment and dedicated resources to team member health and safety.
    • Certified Healthy Workplace™ Partner
An organization that has demonstrated significant commitment and dedication of resources to team member health and safety.
    • Certified Healthy Workplace™ Leader
An organization that continually demonstrates the highest level of commitment and dedication of resources to team member and community health and safety.

To find out more about the criteria for each recognition level, look at this checklist. Plans and recognition are valid for one year from the date you purchase a plan. At the end of that period, you will be prompted to select a new plan, or reenroll in your existing one, retake the Assessment, and benchmark your progress.

  • What is the cost?

Plans start at $180 per year and include a range of advising sessions and access to tools to support the health and safety goals of any organization. The cost of your plan includes services that apply to your entire organization, regardless of size. More details about pricing are available on the Get Started page.

Payment is due at the time you select a plan. We accept all major credit cards.

Plans and recognition are valid for one year from the date of purchase. At the end of that period, you will be prompted to select a new plan, or reenroll in your existing one, retake the Assessment, and benchmark your progress.

  • Can we upgrade our plan?

Users are eligible to upgrade their plan for a prorated fee within 90 days of plan selection and payment. Users that upgrade within the 90 day window will not need to retake the Assessment. Users may purchase a different plan at any time, whether they are eligible for an upgrade or not. However, if a new plan is purchased, the user will need to retake the Assessment in order to access the benefits of their plan and to maintain an active recognition status.

Plans and recognition status are valid for one year after the date of plan purchase.

  • Can we get a refund?

We want our users to be confident and satisfied with the plan they select. To that end, members of our team are available to answer your questions before you finalize your purchase. However, once processed, all sales are considered final and non-refundable.

  • What happens if we don’t get certified?

All organizations that take the Assessment are considered part of the Health Links Healthy Workplace Network and receive support, regardless of whether they meet the certification criteria. Our goal is to help provide the tools and support you need to get you certified.

  • What is included in the Assessment?

The Assessment covers six benchmarks: organizational support, workplace assessments, health programs and policies, safety programs and policies, engagement, and evaluation.

For more details about these benchmarks, visit the What We Do page.

  • Why should we participate?
